Week one of my “diet” has flown by. I weighed in yesterday and was only down .6 of a pound despite working out EVERY day and sticking to my calorie range.
I reassessed and after some input and looking around decided that I actually need to up my calories due to all the exercise I am getting. Easy enough.
Today I stepped on the scale again for kicks and…
I had dropped another pound+. At least it’s a start!

That’s a great start! A pound in a week is a very healthy rate!

Yeah, I’m jealous. You’re working out EVERY day? I’m ashamed of myself. I haven’t been to the gym in 3 months, and that was one visit after being away for 2 months (wow – I haven’t really quantified it until now). Once you get sidetracked with illness and time constraints it’s hard to get back into it. Don’t check the scale to determine your progress if you’re working out that much. Get your skinny jeans out and gauge your progress based on how they fit every couple weeks! Thanks for the motivation.

Janice – I don’t even OWN any skinny jeans!
I have been working out 3-4 days a week starting in July, but since December I have been doing 6-7 days a week. I think I am addicted, but it’s such a release for me and time to be “alone”. It takes some juggling and I go at odd times some days, but I don’t feel like my day is complete unless it’s done.

Good for you on your loss. Since starting back on my weight watchers 2 weeks ago, I have yet to lose a full kilogram per week (2.2lbs) but I’m still losing so that is a good thing. (.9kg week 1, .6kg week 2). Just got to get motivated to start exercising regularly aah!
Keep up the good work
