Do you see it?  I doubt that you need to look very closely or break out the bifocals since it is rather large.  I can only assume that my child is concerned that pirates are going to break into our home and plunder our kitchen table and our only recourse will be to hunt it down in pawn shops far and wide – hence the marking so that we can identify it.

The really hilarious part is that A did not do this.  Nope, poor girl was about to be framed, but I spotted sister, fork in hand and her tongue hanging out of the corner of her mouth like it does when she is concentrating really, really hard.  Red handed.  Yep.

Hooligans.

  • Oooh, somebody’s in T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Hoping that wasn’t an antique or anything. Have to admit that you made it one of the funniest stories I’ve read all day.

  • Pretty sneaky, sis! Oh – and thanks for adding me to your blogroll. I feel like I’m sitting at the cool kids table in the lunchroom now. I’ve returned the favor.

  • Yikes – til you mentioned the fork, I thought it was crayon. The good news is – the table is all broken in now, so you don’t have to worry about it anymore! LOL

  • Oh my!!! Kids can be pretty sneaky. I’m with the person above my comment. With the pic of the crayon, I was thinking “oh it’s just crayon” but yikes, that be a scratch mark lol Don’t you just love kids? ;)
