I have a friend who sells Mary Kay. Actually, I seem to have a lot of friends who do, but that isn’t the point of this story. She was new to the business and trying to build a client base, so I agreed to host a party at my house. I invited a bazillion people [...]

We have a winner
Congratulations to Mary over at Not Before 7 on coming up with a name I love for my NEW SERIES (Imagine those words said in a booming announcer voice, complete with echo if you please.). No prize except that I am sending all of YOU PEOPLE who are reading right now over to visit Mary and [...]

G has had a rough week. He started out seemingly well, but has gotten progressively worse since about Friday. We were instructed to give him his meds around the clock for four days and then we could wean down [...]

Say Ahhhhhh!
My brave little guy had his surgery today and all went well. They removed a stubborn ear tube that has been refusing to come out, worked on his terbinates and removed his tonsils. He was pretty calm going in, but then again, we didn’t actually discuss the fact that there would be pain involved afterwards. [...]
