Have you heard about the new reality series coming out?  I plan to send my audition tape because frankly, I’ve got this one in the bag.

You play the role of a frazzled mom who attempts to complete tasks on a daily basis while pitted against groups of small people or “children”.  Their goal is to wear you down slowly with nonstop questions, messes and fighting.  Once they think they have you in a vulnerable position, they go in for the kill using a move called “whining” or a similar one named “the tantrum”.  This particular display can include any or all of the following:

 crying, screaming, repeating phrases again and again in an annoying voice, allowing snot to pour out of your nose while you lie on the floor and kick and thrash about, and making sure to knock yourself in the head in order to prolong the anger and misery (this would be “the children” – not the mom) hanging from your legs in an attempt to drag you down, spitting, throwing things (including food) and finally crossing of the arms and stomping of the feet 

IF the “mom” can manage to complete at least ONE of 45,987,798,334 daily tasks while keeping the opposing team from setting the house on fire or causing her to twitch and mutter to herself, then she wins.

The prize?

A week long vacation with her own family where she gets to feed and clean up after them while keeping up with the laundry.
