This year Father’s Day turned out to be a pretty good one. For me that is.
We went to church in the morning as usual and then came home, grilled out and headed to the pool. The hubby DID bring his Ipod and spent a good long while vegging out while I watched the kids.
BUT, then he joined in the fun and we had a great ol time visiting with some of our friends, playing with the kids and relaxing. Here is the good part though…
When we got home, I laid down just to rest my eyes before getting the kids ready for bed. Hubby woke me up at 10 to tell me he was going to bed!
I can’t believe it. I got to take a (monster) nap on Father’s Day.
What a guy! I can’t wait for next year. Maybe I will get breakfast in bed.

Whoohoo! Sleeping is so nice. For some reason we came home and all went to bed at 8 which is unheard of around here. I think we might have picked up a vibe off your bizarro father’s day.
