Whew! We just got back from a whirlwind vacation to Walt Disney World and I am still spinning from it. We all had such a great time, despite the fact that the hubby and I were like ranchers with cattle prods, trying to get the rest of my family moving and motivated. Anyone who has been there knows the breakneck pace and long days involved, but if you do it right, you have a ball. The grandparents and aunts and uncles took a little convincing.
Both the hubby and I worked at WDW through the College Program. He was a Pirate of the Caribbean and I worked as a lifeguard at Typhoon Lagoon. Those were the days…
Anyway, we know the parks really well and were able to pull a few tricks out of our bag to make things more smooth and efficient. I think the kids enjoyed it almost as much as we did!
Here is the link to my pictures. The first night we stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel, which is where we took the pictures of the kids in the “water park”. That was a blast, but I am glad it was only one night. I dreamt SpongeBob was in my bed that night. There are other photos of SeaWorld and then the obvious ones of WDW. I wish I could have taken even more, but I was too busy having fun!
Oh, and I bet the hubby $1 that we would see someone we knew. Within 20 minutes he was paying up. Mwhahahaha!
Edited…I will post some pics on flickr. The whole album gives access to my personal info.

FUN!!! Your girls were very brave to meet Captain Hook. Mine would have run away screaming
Glad you had so much fun! Some people (my husband) do not understand the Disney-vacation-pace. He was calling me the “Disney Nazi” the whole time, simply because I was waking them up to get there when the park opened. Hell-OOO! You learn that trick in Disney 101: Obvious Ways To Avoid Crowds.
