I gave away my original stroller when the twins came along and we upgraded to a double stroller. We definitely got out money’s worth out of that sucker. To say it was well worn would be an understatement. Once, I had just washed the seat covers and a lady stopped me at the park to tell me that you can take those off and wash them. I pretended to be surprised by that news.
I suppose after R turned 2 and the girls turned 3 (their birthdays are just a few weeks apart) I started using the cheapy umbrella stroller for R and the girls walked like big brother G. It was actually nice not having to maneuver a bus through narrow doorways and aisles. Again, because we are on the go a LOT, that stroller took a beating and one day the seat straps broke. I NEED a restraining mechanism stroller for my wild child, so I ran to Wal Mart and grabbed one that was cheap and looked like it would do the job. After all, he won’t be in one much longer, right?
I had that thing for about a week when I realized it was a complete waste. Granted, I SHOULD have taken it back, but I am really, really lazy when it comes to that sort of thing. I hate the hassle and when I weigh getting a refund vs. getting the kids dressed, ready and loaded up to go to WAL MART (of all places), well, the refund didn’t matter so much anymore.
I told Hubby we needed a new stroller. I meant to go get one when we were out, but our time ran out and the meltdowns were coming, so I needed to come home early.
My Hubby is so thoughtful. He decided to take care of the situation for me. Sweet, huh? He came home with this. He has a slight addiction to all things related to Clemson. You should see all of the orange in his closet. It’s truly his favorite color.
Guess who pushes the stroller 95% of the time? That’s right, this girl here. Yippee. I’m soooo thrilled.
