The pollen count is absolutely ridiculous here. A 200 is considered extremely high, yet we are going on days of being in the thousands. All the kids are on Claritin, and so am I. Me. Miss no allergies ever. Ugh.
So, here is the front walk before I swept it yesterday. The pictures do NOT do it [...]

Correction
In my haste, I misquoted The Home Depot. Apparently, ”You can do it. We can help.” is the actual motto. My apologies to the gum snapper.

We’re Here to Help
I have been trying for days to get to the Home Depot to buy some annuals for the front of the house. All I need are flowers for two big pots and then one medium sized bed. DAYS I tell you. I wake up thinking that we will go and then inevitably something happens and [...]

“Mommy, did you know that when I was a baby I was nocturnal?”
Oh yeah, Mommy knew that.

Getting Wilder
Saturday night brought about a most pleasant experience. Some good friends had invited us to go see a show with Wilder Embry opening for The Zac Brown Band and it was simply fantastic.
The venue was an old church, complete with pews and a baptismal. At first it felt a little odd cracking open a beer in “church”, but after [...]

Carrot Top
Tonight we went to have our first official family portrait taken. Granted, it was for the church directory, but we were able to order photos for ourselves and others.

Oh the tangled web we weave…
When I was in the fourth grade, I decided that I wanted to stay home from school for the day. I can’t remember why I was attempting to play hooky, but I devised a plan.

Modern Day Inconveniences
Last Christmas my Hubby bought me a Roomba for half price. You may think that I am about to rant about his poor gift choice, however, let me assure you that that bad boy was one superfly present. Granted, I do think they need to improve upon it a bit and make a heavy duty [...]

Won’t you take me to FUNKYTOWN?
Oh that’s right! I’m already there.
I don’t know if it’s because the Hubby has been traveling and working more than usual or if it’s because I’m still not back to full speed from my surgery (6 weeks this Wednesday) or if my children have a voodoo doll in their rooms that looks like me.
I’m tired. [...]

Orange Colored Glasses
I gave away my original stroller when the twins came along and we upgraded to a double stroller. We definitely got out money’s worth out of that sucker. To say it was well worn would be an understatement. Once, I had just washed the seat covers and a lady stopped me at the park to [...]
